Guide

Open any playable battle: four classes provide Normal, Elite, and Boss encounters, while Party Showcase verifies a three-member party

Assets/TinyGiants/GameCardSystem/Demo/Scenes/Single-Character/<Class>/<n>-<Name>.unity

The numeric prefix in the four class lines indicates difficulty: 1 is Normal, 2 is Elite, and 3 is Boss. Those 12 existing scenes retain their single-character encounters and one visible player area. When a second or third player joins, BattleBoard expands the required slots under one Player Area root; the focused Party Showcase scene keeps all three child slots for direct inspection

The Play Mode captures below map each scene file to its player unit and enemy lineup, making it possible to locate a battle directly by class and difficulty

Party Showcase

Multi-Character/Party Showcase.unity reuses the Hunter Fenmoss Hollow scene composition and starts Scout, Squire, and Apprentice in slots 0, 1, and 2 against the Normal Plague Stalker, Elite Spore Brute, and Boss Mire Reaper. Scout is Player Unit 1, so Shared Party uses its Party Tactics Starting Deck for the shared Hand, piles, and energy while each member retains independent health, Armor, statuses, Hooks, and presentation

Party Showcase Play Mode capture with all three player and enemy slots visible

In Play Mode, click any living member to make it the Active Player. Card source, affordability, and the energy display follow the selected identity. Field Mend, Interpose, Shared Resolve, and Emergency Aid expose direct, other-only, all-party, and random ally targeting without replacing the cards needed to finish the battle. One member dying does not end the battle; defeat occurs only after all three die, and a dead member retained in the roster remains available to Revive Unit

Use this scene to inspect player slots, active-member switching, shared resources, ally targets, runtime reinforcement, removal, and revival. Its focused data is stored in the six assets under Demo/Databases/Multi-Character/; PartyEncounterDatabase owns the Encounter. Player party defines the identity and resource contracts

What each tier demonstrates

TierBattle shapeInspect it for
NormalOne low-HP enemyTurn rhythm, card costs, piles, and intent resolution
EliteThree enemiesTarget selection, multi-enemy intents, and area effects
BossOne high-HP enemyWeighted intents, HP thresholds, summons, and longer behavior graphs
PartyThree players against three Hunter enemy instancesPlayer slots, active member, shared resources, ally targets, death, and revival

Normal enemies start with 14 to 18 HP, Elite enemies with 50 to 70 HP, and Bosses with 180 to 240 HP. Each class also has one Summon-tier enemy that enters through the Spawn Unit node: Stitched Hound, Hex Hound, Bog Polyp, or Stringed Squire

Run a demo scene

  1. Open a single-character scene from Demo/Scenes/Single-Character/<Class>/, or open Demo/Scenes/Multi-Character/Party Showcase.unity.

  2. Enter Play Mode.

  3. Confirm the player unit, enemy intent icons, hand, energy display, and End Turn button are visible.

  4. Play cards, end the turn, and watch the enemy intents resolve.

  5. Open Game Card Monitor and inspect piles, units, phases, and FlowGraph execution records.

tip

If no battle starts, first check the scene Bootstrap, Manager, Default Encounter, and Console. Use that evidence to return to the relevant database or content asset
